BRAD PAISLEY FAN JUMPS ON STAGE AT GRAND OLE OPRY

This past Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry Brad Paisley performed on the tribute show for Little Jimmy Dickens’ 60th anniversary as an Opry member. During the second show, as Paisley was performing a guitar solo during “Waitin’ on a Woman,” a female fan pulled herself up onto the stage and proceeded to give Paisley a hug while he continued to play. She tried to give him a small gift, but instead of stopping playing, he simply turned around and had her place the item in his back pocket. She continued to stay on stage for a while, basking in the reality that she was on the Grand Ole Opry stage with Brad Paisley. After she left the stage and the song was completed, Paisley stopped the band and took a moment for what happened to sink in and to explain to the radio audience what had just happened.

“That’s a first for me right there! Let’s talk to the folks listening on the radio right now … about what you’re missing. If that guitar solo sounded funny at the end, it’s because I was being attacked by a beautiful young woman who jumped up on the stage and accosted me … and stuck a Christmas ornament in my pocket that says, ‘I love you Brad. Thanks for making my 18th birthday special. Love, Kim…’ I can’t say her last name because she’s going to be prosecuted for this probably. Well, welcome to Tennessee, and enjoy our penal facilities while you’re here,” laughed Paisley.
